Joseph "Bubba" Alexander Beck

1992 - 2023

With the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Bubba, Joseph Alexander Beck. Joseph passed in his mother's arms on January 30, 2023. He was 30 years old.
On July 17, 1992 Joseph was born with a condition called Holoprosencephaly. He had the most severe form and was given a life expectancy of less than one year. He was a present day miracle with an awe-inspiring story of fortitude and resiliency. He had an inner light that shined brightly through his eyes. He was loved immensely by all who knew him. Our hearts are broken, but we take comfort in knowing that we will be together again one day. Rest easy Superman. We love you.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Beck. He is survived by his parents Shelly Beck and Johnandy Carper, Grandparents Jim and Amelia Cox and Grandfather Russell Beck. His brothers Cameron (Rayanna) Beck, Bailey Carper, Christopher (Elin) Carper and Steven Carper, and his sister Brittney Carper. Also his nieces Rozilynn Lawhon, Sophia and Charlotte Beck and his nephew Rowan Blagoi. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be visitation on Thursday 2/16 from 12-6pm at Lodi Funeral Home, following after is recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 2/17 at 10am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, followed by committal at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
